Local Animal Rescue Loses Resources to Robbery

Current HomeFur-ever Needs to Help Us Help More Animals:

Animal Resources

• Donations of animal medications including heartworm and flea & tick prevention  (we recommend Advantage & Frontline)

• High-quality pet food & treats (we recommend Iams, Eukanuba, NutroMax, Iams, etc.)
• Blankets & animal beds
• Animal collars & leashes
• Collapsable animal crates; from small to extra large
• Toys
• Food & water bowls
• Newspapers
• Kitty litter
• Litter pans & scoops
• Bath wipes for cats/dogs
• Animal shampoo
• Nail clippers
• Digital video camera (to monitor situations of animals potentially in need of rescue, as well as to provide online video of animals currently available for adoption)  
• Portable, battery-operated air conditioners for use in travel crates and vehicles when transporting animals and during events when animals must remain in their cages
• Portable, battery-operated misting systems for use in travel crates during periods when animals must remain in their cages

Volunteer Services

• Volunteers to transport animals to and from veterinary appointments
• Volunteers to transport animals to and from adoption events
• Volunteers to attend and assist at adoption events
• Volunteers to coordinate and produce fundraiser events to help us obtain funds to operate and assist animals
• Volunteers to walk and socialize with the animals
• Volunteers to clean kennels and yards
• Foster families to temporarily care for animals in your home
• Volunteers to give animal(s) proper medication and food as they recuperate from various medical traumas
• Volunteers to assist in animal rescue activities
• Volunteers to perform a variety of clerical tasks to help us manage our operations and animal record-keeping
• Volunteers to promote us throughout the Social Media Networks; as well as to engage in social media marketing activities on our behalf on our various sites

Professional Services

• Veterinary Services (free and/or discount in exchange for extensive Public Relations efforts on your behalf by HomeFur-ever representatives)
• Legal Services to aid our efforts to save animals
• Volunteers to provide grooming and dental services at free and/or discounted rates in exchange for extensive Public Relations efforts on your behalf by HomeFur-ever representatives
• Volunteers to provide animal training services at free and/or discounted rates in exchange for extensive Public Relations efforts on your behalf by HomeFur-ever representatives

Resources for the Organization

• A building donation (discounted rent, discounted purchase, or outright donation - all tax deductible) for a headquarters and permanent shelter facilty
• Corporate sponsors to provide financial contributions which defray the operating costs of the organization in exchange for extensive Public Relations efforts on your behalf by HomeFur-ever representatives
• Enclosed trailer and/or donated storage unit at a storage facility within Detroit city limits
• Financial contributions that can be utilized for operating expenses which include:  animal care, transportation, registration & licensing fees, etc.
