Strategic Growth Concepts has been invaluable in assisting us in the development of our Marketing and Public Relations strategies to help grow awareness of HomeFur-ever and our Mission. Their efforts have included the build-out and on-going maintenance of our new website and our blog, as well as the development of a wide range of social media strategies which will enable our organization to reach into the community to obtain volunteers, foster parents, adoptive families, financial contributions, in-kind donations, and referrals to animals in need of assistance; thereby allowing us to assist more animals. Petfinder provides webspace and databank services at no charge on a nationwide basis, in a format that can be customized to enable local rescue groups to list animals for adoption in their specific geographic areas. A hearty thank you goes out to Petfinder because if it weren’t for them we wouldn’t have the capability of showcasing our animals in an easy-to-use format for you to review, select, and ultimately adopt our animals and become their “fur-ever” home.

Brown Dog Welding - Brown Dog Welding is a welding and fabrication shop located in Mt. Clemens, MI that specializes in unique and customized home furnishings, accessories, and sculptures. The name of the business comes from combining the two loves of the owner: welding and my dog Woodson (who was obtained from HomeFur-ever). Because the owner is true animal lover, his company is now splitting 10% of his company's profits between HomeFur-ever and another charity. We're very grateful for both the wonderful home they are providing to Woodson, and the donations being made to HomeFur-ever.

HomeFur-ever would like to extend our deepest gratitude to those who have provided us with equipment & supply donations, cash donations and offers to volunteer assistance during this time of extreme need.
While a situation as we recently experienced with the theft of all of our equipment and supplies is never easy to deal with or to overcome, we are VERY proud to say that the assistance we have received from the Detroit community has helped us to continue our care of our animals and has shown a very positive side of the Detroit metro area.
Though the gifts large and small have been too numerous to list here individually, we wish that every group and individual who has provided that assistance to us will accept our sincere thanks on behalf of our group and the animals we care for.
Individual Assistance
A hearty 'thanks' to all of our dedicated foster homes. Because of them, our animals are able to become well-socialized and prepared to enter a family environment without trauma. Many of these families have other animals, and some of them have children, thus further preparing our adoptable animals with a more diverse ability to adapt to many different living circumstances. Foster homes are one of our most valuable, and in short supply, resources and we really cannot offer enough thanks to the those who have opened their homes to abandoned, abused, and homeless animals.
